About the West Highland Rim Forestry Association
The WHRFA was formed in 2016 from the Dickson and Humphreys/Houston County Forestry Associations.
Our primary mission is to provide education and information about forestry and related natural resources, including the best-known management practices for growing and maintaining a sustainable forest.

Our interests encompass not only trees, but also native plants and wildlife, and the water and watershed within the forest. We also promote an appreciation for the forest products and forest-based economies in our counties and in Tennessee.
The WHRFA is a Local Chapter of the Tennessee Forestry Association.
